iPod, a series of portable media players designed and marketed by Apple and launched in 2001. To store music files iPod uses ATA Toshiba 1.8 Inch Hard Drive, 1 Inch Micro drives from Seagate and Hitachi and Flash Memory which is common on other mp3 players as well. The iPod uses HFS+ file system if iPod has been formatted on Mac OS, else would use FAT file system if it has been formatted on Windows.
