Excalibur has the experience and proven track record recovering data from every RAID configuration imaginable. We have amassed the necessary tools and technology over the past 15 years to be extremely successful at what we do. Whether you have a straight forward striped or mirrored (duplexed) set, or a much more complex configuration, you want to entrust your recovery efforts to the experts at Excalibur!
Supported levels of RAID (Redundant Array of Independent Disks):
RAID 0, RAID 1, RAID 0+1, RAID 1E, RAID 2, RAID 3, RAID 4, RAID 5, RAID5EE, RAID 6 RAID 10, RAID 50 (same as RAID05)
A portion of what we do to protect the original media and client data on the failed RAID array is to create an image or clone of each drive that is submitted. At times, this requires rebuilding the failed drive or drives in the original array before imaging is completed. Once the media is stabilized, the duplication process begins. The replicated drives are safely stored while the manipulation and de-raiding recovery efforts continue on the replacement hardware. The new hard drive images create a stabile environment that allow recovery efforts to proceed without further jeopardizing the client’s data.
As with any recovery effort performed by Excalibur, a report is always prepared for the client detailing the recovery opportunity as well as any and all costs to be incurred when the initial analysis is completed. This report contains as much pertinent information as necessary to assist in the decision making process in order to proceed with the final phase of recovery service. Assurances of the quality and accuracy of the recovery are what our clients can expect to receive. There are never any hidden costs when working with Excalibur. Any commitment we make to our clients is always put in writing!
