The body of the LEICA D-LUX 4 "Safari" is protected by an anodised olive green surface finish which is particularly resistant to wear and guarantees the camera long-term protection against inadvertent damage. Just like all the other models in the LEICA D-LUX 4 series, the LEICA D-LUX 4 "Safari" has a tough metal body manufactured exclusively from the finest materials with attention paid even to the smallest detail. The technical features of the LEICA D-LUX 4 "Safari" are identical to those of the other models in the series and offer versatile options for any number of different photographic situations.
The compact camera is available as a set including a hard-wearing and waterproof outdoor carrying case. The system carrying case offers ample room for the camera and optional accessories such as a handgrip, optical viewfinder or flash. In addition, the back of the case has a compartment containing a nylon "rain cape" that can be pulled out to cover the whole case.
