TomTom introduces the new PRO series GPS navigation devices, including the PRO 4000 and PRO 8000. The PRO series offers:
- Dedicated PRO customer service telephone line
- PIN lock to protect sensitive information
- Menu lock option that eliminates distractions and fosters safe driving
- Premium ruggedized sleeve for added durability and protection
- One free map update to be used within 12 months of first use
- Two-year limited product warranty
The PRO 4000 and PRO 8000 both have a 4.3-inch touchscreen, and integrated high sensitivity GPS chipset. They will have maps preloaded on internal memory. The PRO 8000 comes with an integrated FM tuner, a SD/MMC card slot, Bluetooth, built-in microphone and speaker for handsfree. The PRO 8000 will feature also IQ Routes, Advanced Lane Guidance, and Voice Address Input.
