Directions: Follow the directions for using Condylox 0.5% Gel provided by your doctor. CONDYLOX 0.5% GEL IS FOR EXTERNAL USE ONLY. Condylox 0.5% Gel comes with a patient information leaflet. Read it carefully. Ask your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist any questions that you may have about Condylox 0.5% Gel. APPLY CONDYLOX 0.5% GEL USING the applicator tip or your finger. Apply only the minimum amount needed to cover the wart. WASH YOUR HANDS thoroughly after using Condylox 0.5% Gel. Allow the medicine to dry before allowing other skin surfaces to touch the treated area. ANY LEFTOVER MEDICINE or supplies used with Condylox 0.5% Gel should be placed in a plastic bag and disposed of as instructed by your doctor, nurse, or pharmacist. STORE CONDYLOX 0.5% GEL at room temperature in the original tightly-closed container, away from heat and light. Do not freeze.
Apply twice daily for 3 consecutive days, then discontinue for 4 consecutive days. This one week cycle of treatment may be repeated until there is no visible wart tissue or for a maximum of four cycles. If there is incomplete response after four treatment cycles, discontinue treatment and consider alternative treatment. Safety and effectiveness of more than four treatment cycles has not been established. There is no evidence to suggest that more frequent application will increase efficacy, but additional applications would be expected to increase the rate of local adverse reactions and systemic absorption. |
