This notice is available on the homepage and wherever personally identifiable information is requested. It applies to all information collected or submitted at BuyersGuide.com – a property of Niche Sites LLC.

Your privacy is important. This notice explains our information practices and the choices you can make concerning how your information is collected and used.
BUYER INFORMATION
Access to our site is free for buyers. Additionally, as a buyer, you can create a personal account for free, which you can use for multiple purposes, including but not limited to your posting product buying tips and expertise. We do not share identifying information about you with any third parties. We do share non-identifying reporting information, in the form of statistical reports, such as traffic, site usage, and general demographic information to promote BuyersGuide.com.
MANUFACTURER INFORMATION
If you are a manufacturer, we may include information about your products in the appropriate product category. When we do, we create a free account for you, where you can add, edit or delete your products from our site.
We are committed to providing buyers with accurate information. If material differences exist between product information we determine independently and product information you provide through your free account, we may choose to rely upon independently verifiable information or drop your products all together.
You may choose to upgrade your free manufacturer account to take advantage of any of the benefits available to manufacturers at BuyersGuide.com, when you upgrade, you will be required to provide a valid form of payment, we will require the following information:
- Name
- Company Name
- Billing Address
- Email Address
- Phone Number
- Credit/Debit Card Information
We accept credit card information within account areas of the site and we use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) for encryption. Your browser and our secure server work together to encrypt the information using 128 bit encryption.
We do not use encryption outside of the account areas of the site. That means you should not provide payment information on forms outside of the site or via email, as they may not be "secure" and could pose a security risk.
DATA SECURITY
To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect.
CREDIT CARD FRAUD
We take credit card fraud very seriously. It is a violation of State and Federal law to enter orders under a false name or with an invalid credit card number. Attempts at fraudulent ordering will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
ORDER INFORMATION
We use the information you provide when placing an order to complete that order. We do not share information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete that order.
EMAIL INFORMATION
We require a valid email address for account login. We do not share this email address with third parties. We only use this email address for login purposes and to deliver communications regarding our site. You may terminate these uses by terminating your account and opting out of further communications.
CORRECTIONS
You can access all of your information within your account, except for credit card information. To update credit card information, you have to provide a new set of information. We use this procedure to better safeguard information. You can alter other information directly within your account after you login. Should you lose your login information or change your email, you may contact us directly. To protect your privacy and security, we will also take reasonable steps to verify your identity before granting access or making corrections.
REFUND POLICY
For manufacturer accounts, ALL SALES ARE FINAL, UNLESS THE PARTIES AGREE TO A REFUND IN WRITING. This means refunds are not available, unless stated otherwise in a signed written agreement.
